Fall 2017 Application for Enrollment NOW OPEN!

We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2017 participation!

For Current or Newly Admitted CSU Students: We're excited that you're interested in becoming part of the AAC community!  Please complete and submit our electronic application at the following link,  

For Faculty/Staff: If you are a faculty/teacher/staff/counselor and would like to nominate a student for participation in our program, please complete and submit our AAC Referral Form and we'll get in touch with the student you've nominated.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.  In order to be considered for Spring 2017 AAC participation, applications and all necessary required documentation needs to be submitted by July 1, 2017.



AAC students are current CSU undergraduate students who have a need or desire for academic support to meet and exceed their academic potential.  They are students who are committed to working toward their own success, and whose background MUST includes one or more of the following:

  • First-generation college student (neither parent has a bachelor's degree) OR
  • Low income (as determined by AAC staff using parental tax information) OR
  • A documented visible or non-visible disability AND
  • Demonstrated need for academic support

Required Application Supporting Documents

Additional Documentation that is required with your application:

  • Low-Income Verification (All Applicants):
    •  2017-2018 FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR): Students can submit their full Student Aid Report from FASFA in order to verify low-income eligibility.  Student Aid Reports can be accessed through the FASFA website.
  • Disability Documentation (Some Applicants): If the applicant identifies as having a disability, please provide documentation to the Academic Advancement Center that your disability is on file with Resources for Disabled Students.

What Happens After You've Submitted Your Application

We review your application materials to verify that you are eligible to become part of the AAC and that we've received all of your supporting documentation.

Upon receiving your complete AAC application and supporting documents, we will contact you within 2-3 weeks via phone to schedule an applicant interview with you.
